About Us

What We Believe

  • We believe in one God, revealed in three distinct ways:  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit

  • We believe Jesus was human and that he died on the cross.

  • We believe Jesus was divine, the Son of God and through the miracle of the Ressurection, he lives today.

  • We believe Jesus is our Lord and we are called to follow in his footsteps.

  • We believe Jesus is our Savior and through Him, we are forgiven our sins and can find eternal life.

  • We believe the Holy Bible is God's word.

Rev. Carol Bookwalter

Visitation Pastor

Carol Bookwalter is a retired elder in the Virginia United Methodist Conference; a mother of five with one son with his dad in heaven with Jesus. She loves visiting and talking with people about their life experiences and their walk-in faith. One of her joys in Christ is His call to prayer and sharing with others how much God has to offer them through Scripture and prayer. She entered ministry from Trinity UMC seeking to do pastoral care and discovered in the process a love for teaching, preaching, and sharing the miraculous ways Jesus has worked in her life. Carol’s education includes a bachelor’s degree in nursing, and master’s in counseling and divinity. But the credentials are nothing compared to knowing Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord. She is excited about the opportunity to be part of the ministry team at Trinity UMC.
